While we recognize online experience cannot replace face-to-face gathering, we understand the complexities of work, travel, and illness, and hope this option is a great alternative for when you’re unable to make it in person.
Worship
God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him, and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
Grace Alone
By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear and believe this Good News have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.
Faith Alone
As it says in John 14:6, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Salvation is only given through Christ. His is the once-for-all-time sacrifice for sin.
Christ Alone
The Bible is God’s inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.
Scripture Alone

A Lutheran is a Christian who believes and confesses the teachings of the Bible as explained by Martin Luther and other theologians during the early 16th century. These theologians sought to correct errors that were being taught by the Christian church during this era, with the hope of having a more biblical, Christ-centered, and unified church. The foundations of their teachings stemmed from a few guiding principles. We gather together to worship the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as He has revealed Himself to the world through His Word.
Zion Lutheran commits to the use of the historic liturgical framework as a means for structuring our worship, this provides a structure for what happens in the services each week. We are blessed to be able to gather as a family of faith around the Word and Sacraments, receiving the gifts of forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation. Frequently Asked Questions
Once you enter through the doors, expect to be greeted by friendly faces. Bathrooms are located in the basement should you need them. Make your way up the stairs into the House of the Lord to have a seat and be fed by God’s gift of Word and Sacrament. The service is located on the screen for you to follow along. If you would prefer, hymnals are available in the pews for the first service, and service orders are available for the second service.
It is our desire that families worship as families. We know that kids can sometimes get a bit louder, but we welcome their joyous noises unto the Lord.
You may feel free to come as you are, but should you be wondering what the rest of the people who are present are wearing, the answer is that it varies. Some wear suits and ties and dresses. Others wear shorts or jeans and a polo shirt. More than anything, we would just love to have you join us!
Bible Study is located in the church basement in between services (9:30). There is coffee, donuts, fellowship, and the Word served there as well. The whole family is welcome to join! At the same time, Sunday School is also offered in the school building, during the school year.
The Divine Worship Services tend to range from 60-75 minutes in length.
There is a small parking lot located on the south and west sides of the church building. There is visitor parking located on the south side of the building. Otherwise, people park on the edges of the neighboring streets.

9:15 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday School
10:30 a.m. Liturgical with blended music
Accordingly, our 8:00 a.m. service is a traditional service that utilizes the various orders of service in the Lutheran Service Book and is accompanied by organ music. Our 10:30 a.m. service is a blended service that uses the historic order of the liturgy to frame the service but is accompanied by piano, guitar, and drums, where the service order is provided in a printed service folder. Additionally, there are PowerPoint screens to follow along.
